UAB Tops Samford, 17-7

UAB pounded out 23 hits, hit three home runs in the first inning, and scored six runs in the eighth inning to defeat Samford 17-7 at Young Memorial Field. UAB led from the start, scoring three runs in the first inning and building up a 11-1 lead before Samford tried to mount a comeback.
