Kentucky coach Rich Brooks avoided injury Monday when a boat he was on capsized on the McKenzie River northeast of Springfield. The Register-Guard newspaper reported the boat overturned after a strong current pushed it into a log. Brooks swam to a gravel bar after falling in the water.
