CINCINNATI, Ohio — A box score doesn’t always paint an accurate picture of a game. Kansas State’s 103-77 loss to Xavier on Monday was not one of those instances. Head coach Frank Martin’s team committed 16 turnovers and went 27 for 62 from the floor, and the Wildcats’ performance was every bit as ugly as both the score and the statistics indicate. Even though Indiana made a nice comeback at the end, there was never really a doubt who would win the 19th annual Insight Bowl. Oklahoma State jumped on the Hoosiers early and often, cruising to a 49-33 win. While the offense was its normal self, the defense came out in the early going and kept IU from keeping up with the Cowboys on the scoreboard
